Clubs/Sports/Activities:

The yearbook staff is doing an amazing job of documenting all the events and activities that Tennent has to offer. Don't forget to order your yearbook at yearbookordercenter.com with code #5115.

The equity club, Voices for Change, will be hosting a spirit day once a week for Black History Month beginning on February 2nd through February 28. Please wear all black on February 2nd in honor of BLM and Black History month. We look forward to seeing all in Black.

Black and White T-Shirts will be on sale at all lunches starting this week.  Students can get into Gym Night free of charge when wearing their team shirt.  T-shirts are $10.

In other Black and White news, the next poster meeting will be held on Saturday from 8:00 to 12:00.  All are welcome!

Still wondering what Black and White is?

Black and White is a school-wide Tennent tradition that has been running for 57 years.  Everyone in the school, from 9th to 12th grade, is on a team!  Last names A-K, such as Goldberg and Kotofsky, are on the Black team; Last names L-Z, such as

Lockett and Scheller, are on the White team; Imagine field day, but with 4 grades all on one team,  and 3 field day nights full of competition, games, and excitement.

If you want to get involved, come out to a poster meeting, attend one of this week's info sessions, or sign up for some events!  We hope to see you there!

There will be a "Super Bowl" canned food drive from February 1st until February 10th.  Please bring your canned foods to room C113 or to room A102 or to designated boxes around the building.  Thanks in advance for supporting our school district's food pantry.  All canned foods will be given to people who live in our community.  Your kindness and generosity is greatly appreciated.  Please bring in the cans!

If you are interested in purchasing a print of the senior class photo, which features all students in 12th grade, order forms are available in the 12th grade house. Please see Mrs. Baumgarten with any questions.
