Activities
Clubs and organizations are offered to all students!
High School extracurriculars allows you to pursue your current interests and passions and perhaps even discover ones you didn't know you had. Clubs and student organizations are a vital part of William Tennent High School, and students are encouraged to become involved. The goal of all clubs and extracurricular organizations is to help each of our students realize their potential.
Educational statistics prove that students who are involved in clubs and extracurricular activities make better grades and are more likely to succeed in life after high school. Colleges and businesses closely examine the level of student involvement in clubs and organizations when determining admission, scholarships or employment. Regardless of what group you decide to join, you will want to let them know that you are well-rounded and are able to handle multiple responsibilities and your involvement in these organizations will show them a positive sign that you are willing and able to handle both.
When you're looking through the many groups we have here at William Tennent, try to pursue a mix of activities that you are familiar with and ones that may be out of your comfort zone. Our faculty sponsors 33 clubs, 15 co-curriculars and 9 academic Honor Societies with 75% of the student body involved in a wide variety of extracurricular and community service activities.
