We are incredibly grateful to announce that Ethos Technology has donated $5,000 to assist with meal debt across Centennial School District!
Unpaid meal balances can create real financial stress for families and impact a student's daily school experience. This generous contribution directly helps ease that burden so our students can focus on what matters most, learning and growing.
Ethos is a mission-driven company committed to giving back, donating 30% of its net profits to charitable causes like Philabundance, Charity Water, Vibrant Health, and local school communities where their team and clients live and work.
Thank you, Ethos Technology, for your incredible generosity, partnership, and dedication to our Centennial community!

Yesterday, Centennial School District staff and teachers gathered for our annual Convocation to kick off the upcoming school year with energy, alignment, and Centennial pride!
Our morning began with an inspiring address from our Superintendent, Dr. Lucabaugh, setting our shared vision and priorities for the year ahead, followed by welcome remarks from our School Board Vice-President, Tony Sadowski. Our security team presented us with guidelines on reinforcing safety protocols across all buildings. We were also thrilled to welcome the Centennial Education Foundation (CEF) to learn more about their continued support for innovative teacher grants and student programs. Most importantly, it was an incredible opportunity to bring all teachers, support staff, and administrators together under one roof to reconnect before our students return.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this morning's event a success. We are ready to welcome our students back and make this school year extraordinary! 📚

Thank you to everyone who made this year's Tennent Girls Basketball Camp such a great success!
We had over 40 campers join us last week for a fun-filled week of basketball, learning, and teamwork. From our daily themes, games, and contests to skill development and new drills, the girls worked hard, had a great time, and continued to grow both on and off the court.
A huge thank you to all of our campers and families for being a part of this year's camp. We can't wait to see you cheering us on during the upcoming season, and we hope to welcome everyone back for camp again next summer!

Congratulations on the achievements of the Future Business Leader students at William Tennent High School! It takes a massive amount of dedication to balance schoolwork with the rigorous preparation required for the FBLA State Leadership Conference. A huge shout-out to the entire roster for representing the Centennial School District so well. Making it to the state level is a feat in itself, as it means these students are among the top business-minded youth in Pennsylvania.
Special Spotlight: Yaroslav Teteruk
Placing 5th in the state for Mobile App Design is a standout accomplishment. In a field that requires a mix of technical coding ability, user interface (UI) design, and a solid business pitch, ranking that high speaks volumes about Yaroslav’s skill and future potential in the tech industry.

Congratulations to William Tennent High School Advanced Media Production student Brianna Alburger (’27) for receiving the Best Producer award at the 18th Annual Greenfield Youth Film Festival! Her documentary, “Drained - The Effects of Social Media on Teens,” truly shines.

We could not be prouder of our students! 🌟
The Fine Arts Festival is in full swing, and it is clear how much hard work has gone into these performances. Our musicians have been practicing since January and have truly gone above and beyond this week! 🎶
There is still time to join in on the fun and celebrate their achievements:
🎼 Chorus Night is happening TONIGHT (7 PM) at William Tennent High school!
🥁 Band Night is TOMORROW NIGHT (7 PM) William Tennent High school!
Come out and show your support for our talented students. See you there! 🏫💙

At this past Tuesday's Board of School Directors meeting, the Centennial School District community took a solemn moment to honor the life and legacy of former Board Member Jane Schrader Lynch. We were deeply humbled to welcome Jane’s family to the meeting, where they were presented with a memorial plaque in recognition of her dedicated service. Jane was a committed public servant whose advocacy for our students, staff, and schools left a lasting mark on the district. We extend our deepest sympathies to her loved ones and remain profoundly grateful for her years of leadership and service to Centennial.
