On Sunday, September 13, 2026, the William Tennent Cheerleading Program collected more than 750 pounds of donated food during a food drive hosted by the Giant Supermarket of Warminster. This outstanding contribution will help support local families and individuals facing food insecurity.
The collection surpassed the 500-pound benchmark for an excellent food drive, resulting in more than 750 pounds of donated food with an estimated retail value of more than $1,700. Together, the donations provided the equivalent of more than 1,500 meals for local individuals and families in need. In addition to the nonperishable food items, the athletes packaged more than 75 Birthday Boxes filled with boxed cake mix, soda, candles, and decorations, helping recipients celebrate birthdays with ease.

Early this week, students in Centennial School District's SPIRIT program soft-launched their own ShopRite! This exciting venture is a smaller-scale version of the supermarket, giving CSD employees the chance to stop in and purchase everyday items right on-site.
Thanks to the original connection made by the late Joseph Cowhey, SPIRIT students have had the opportunity to operate the ShopRite store at William Tennent High School before the regular bell schedule begins. Now, with SPIRIT at the Administration Building, our students can operate the store for longer shifts and more frequently throughout the day.
Students are gaining valuable real-world experience while serving Administration Building staff, SPIRIT staff, students, and visitors attending professional development and training. Each shift gives students opportunities to practice customer service, communication, teamwork, responsibility, and other important workplace skills.
We're so proud of our SPIRIT students for their hard work in bringing this soft launch to life. Congratulations on this exciting milestone, and we can't wait to see the program continue to grow!
What an incredible night! This past Saturday, William Tennent High School proudly hosted the 30th Annual Celebration of Bands at William Tennent Stadium this past Saturday, and our Marching Band brought their absolute best to the field.
None of this would be possible without the countless hours our students, directors, and staff have poured into preparation. Their discipline, teamwork, and passion for music were on full display, and it showed in every performance of the night.
We also want to extend a huge thank you to the families, friends, alumni, and community members who came out to fill the stands and cheer on our performers. Your support means the world to our students and helps make nights like these so special.

Yesterday, Centennial School District staff and teachers gathered for our annual Convocation to kick off the upcoming school year with energy, alignment, and Centennial pride!
Our morning began with an inspiring address from our Superintendent, Dr. Lucabaugh, setting our shared vision and priorities for the year ahead, followed by welcome remarks from our School Board Vice-President, Tony Sadowski. Our security team presented us with guidelines on reinforcing safety protocols across all buildings. We were also thrilled to welcome the Centennial Education Foundation (CEF) to learn more about their continued support for innovative teacher grants and student programs. Most importantly, it was an incredible opportunity to bring all teachers, support staff, and administrators together under one roof to reconnect before our students return.

We had over 40 campers join us last week for a fun-filled week of basketball, learning, and teamwork. From our daily themes, games, and contests to skill development and new drills, the girls worked hard, had a great time, and continued to grow both on and off the court.
A huge thank you to all of our campers and families for being a part of this year's camp. We can't wait to see you cheering us on during the upcoming season, and we hope to welcome everyone back for camp again next summer!
