Today, Attorney General Dave Sunday launched a series of planned teenTALK events by meeting with Bucks County students at William Tennent High School to discuss the impact of social media on mental health.

During today’s meeting, the students discussed their own use of social media, including its pros and cons. Many students shared thoughts on the addictive nature of social media and how spending excessive time on apps can affect relationships and hinder learning.

You may see some familiar faces from our Centennial community!

Congratulations to the Davis Elementary Silver team for winning the Innovation Project award and to the Willow Dale Elementary School Gold team for winning the Breakthrough Award.

A very special congratulations to McDonald Elementary's Mrs. Tonkinson for being nominated by her students and winning the Coach/Mentor award.

As we prepare for the 2025-26 school year, it is time for our students to begin the course selection process. To support you and your child in making informed decisions, we encourage you to review the WTHS Panther Pathways Program of Studies. This guide provides detailed information about the courses and opportunities available for the upcoming school year. In the coming weeks, teachers will recommend courses for your child, and school counselors will meet with students to help them select elective classes. Additionally, informational sessions are currently being held for students interested in Advanced Placement (AP) courses next year. Details about these sessions, including dates and times, can be accessed [here]. We invite you to attend the WTHS Course Selection Night on Thursday, January 16th, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. in the WTHS auditorium. From 6:00 to 6:45 p.m., department leaders will be available to answer questions regarding required and elective courses. At 7:00 p.m., a formal presentation will provide an overview of the exciting academic opportunities available at WTHS. This event is an excellent chance for parents and guardians of all current students to learn more about the course selection process and explore the programs we offer. If you have any questions regarding course selection, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s school counselor for assistance.
