Dear Families of Klinger Middle School 8th-grade Students, As we prepare to welcome your child to William Tennent High School for the 2025-26 school year, we are excited to begin the course selection process for our rising 8th-grade students. To help you and your child make informed decisions about their academic journey, we encourage you to review the WTHS Panther Pathways Program of Studies. This guide offers detailed information about the courses and opportunities available to incoming high school students. In the coming weeks, teachers at your middle school will recommend courses for your child, and school counselors will assist students in selecting their elective classes. We also invite you to attend the WTHS Course Selection Night on Thursday, January 16th, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. in the WTHS auditorium. During the first portion of the evening, from 6:00 to 6:45 p.m., department leaders will be available to answer questions about required and elective courses. At 7:00 p.m., a formal presentation will provide an overview of the academic opportunities and pathways available at William Tennent High School. This event is an excellent opportunity for parents, guardians, and students to learn more about the transition to high school and the exciting programs we offer. If you have any questions about course selection, please feel free to reach out to your child’s school counselor for assistance. We look forward to meeting you and supporting your child’s successful transition to high school. Best regards, Dr. Joseph A. Carracappa Principal William Tennent High School

Students from STEM and Family and Consumer Science (FCS) collaborated in an exciting "Cookie Wars" competition, made possible by a grant from the Centennial Education Foundation. This hands-on project encouraged students to explore the fundamentals of baking and decorating, the design process, and the basics of starting a business.

A Message from the Superintendent Dear CSD Community: On behalf of Centennial School District, I am thrilled to share that we were informed that in the recently released 2025 U.S. News & World Report rankings, Log College Middle School is ranked among the top 35% of middle schools in Pennsylvania. This prestigious distinction places the school in the U.S. News Best Middle Schools category, a recognition that underscores the outstanding educational experience Log College Middle School provides its students. The U.S. News Best Middle Schools rankings are based on several key factors, including academic performance, student-to-teacher ratios, and state math and English language arts assessments. Log College Middle School's placement among the top 35% of schools statewide reflects its commitment to fostering academic excellence, promoting student engagement, and providing a well-rounded education for all its learners. The U.S. News rankings help parents, guardians, students, and educators assess how well schools prepare students for high school and beyond. They are based on data from the U.S. Department of Education, state-level assessment results, and other factors contributing to student success. Log College Middle School's ranking reflects the district's and school's ongoing focus on continuous improvement, social-emotional growth, and preparation for future academic challenges. CSD and the school continue to offer a wide range of programs and initiatives to support student success, including specialized support services, extracurricular opportunities, and a dedicated team of administrators, faculty, and staff who work tirelessly to ensure every student's potential is reached. This achievement is also a testament to our community support of our schools and our students' continued classroom efforts. With sincere gratitude, Dana T. Bedden, Ed.D., CAA Superintendent of Schools
