On Wednesday, October 21st, Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick visited William Tennent High School, meeting with Conflict, Diplomacy, and Resolution students in the school’s library to discuss his role and answer their questions about current events and policy.
During the visit, Congressman Fitzpatrick spoke with students about current events and policies that tie into what they are currently learning, giving them a firsthand look at the role he plays in representing their community at the federal level. Students had the opportunity to engage directly with him, asking thoughtful questions and gaining valuable insight into how government and policy decisions impact their everyday lives.
Opportunities like this give our students a meaningful, real-world connection to civics and government, helping them become more informed and engaged citizens.
